Paid Performance Opportunity During WNBA All-Star Weekend

Musical Family Tree Announces Paid Performance Opportunity for Women in Music During WNBA All-Star Weekend

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – As the energy of the AT&T WNBA All-Star 2025 comes to downtown Indianapolis this July, Musical Family Tree, in partnership with the Indy Arts Council and the WNBA All-Star 2025 Host Committee, is proud to contribute to Red Hot Summer Sessions — celebrating and showcasing women and women-identified musicians, as well as women-fronted bands, through paid busking performances throughout weekend.

Performances will take place in designated areas throughout downtown Indianapolis on Friday, July 18 and Saturday, July 19. Artists will be scheduled for a one- or two-hour set, and all performers will be paid.

This opportunity is part of a citywide activation designed to welcome AT&T WNBA All-Star 2025 fans and visitors to Indianapolis while amplifying the incredible talent within our local music community. Artists from all genres are encouraged to apply.

Applications are now open at: musicalfamilytree.org/2025-wnba-red-hot-summer-sessions.
Deadline to apply: Friday, June 13, 2025.

“We’re thrilled to align with the AT&T WNBA All-Star 2025 to spotlight some of Indy’s most powerful voices in music,” said Jeb Banner, Board Chair of Musical Family Tree. “This is about more than entertainment—it’s about visibility, opportunity, and celebrating the artistry of women in our community.”
