Meet the Artists

Kyndl
Kyndl (pronounced “kindle”), is a multi-talented singer/songwriter, and hip-hop artist hailing from the Far Eastside of Indianapolis. Known for her raw storytelling, soulful melodies, and hip-hop grit, her music reflects personal growth, authenticity, and evolution.

Jade Davidson
Jade Davidson is a self-taught singer, songwriter, guitarist, and producer whose sound blends bluesy grit with indie and jazz influences. Creating music is both her craft and her comfort—a space where she wrestles with sound to soothe her soul.

Watercourses
”White River/Black Swamp”- They bring a unique blend of progressive and pop elements to their self-styled “Indie-ana Kayak Rock.” Their name reflects an appreciation for the waterways that flow through northeast and central Indiana, grounding their sound in Midwestern roots. With complex arrangements, rich instrumental sections, and memorable melodies, they create music that’s as fluid and unpredictable as the rivers that inspired them.

Josh Gillespie Band
Josh’s live performances are dynamic and memorable, built on blending the sounds of rock’s golden era with the energy of modern indie styles. Whether through driving guitar riffs or intricate rhythms, Josh’s music resonates with a sense of vitality and craftsmanship.

Wampus Milk Daddies
Wampus Milk Daddies is a six-piece Rock/Jazz Fusion band from Indianapolis, Indiana. They write fast, melodic tunes that feature all of our members’ individual sounds and styles. Their goal is to create a groovy, fun, and engaging performance that'll rock your socks off and leave your sides split!

Rhymacide
Rhymacide AKA Reckless Rhymacide is an Indianapolis rapper and songwriter known for his high-energy performances and dynamic fusion of hip hop, rock, and pop. As MC for the night, he’ll keep the energy high and the crowd moving from start to finish.

Whodunit Beats
Whodunitbeats will be spinning between sets, keeping the vibes flowing all night. An Indianapolis-based creative specializing in cinematography, audio engineering, and music production, his beats bring energy and fun to every stage.

Support Indy CD & Vinyl!

Musical Family Tree is proud to support our friends at Indy CD & Vinyl—a cornerstone of Indy’s music scene for more than 20 years. Their new all-ages venue, The 808, is finally open, but they still need our help to finish what’s been an enormous labor of love.

What started as a simple renovation turned into a complete rebuild: walls taken down to the studs, all-new electrical and air conditioning, a repaired roof, reconstructed floors, new doors, and brand-new bathrooms. Over a year later, they’ve poured everything into creating a space where our community can gather for live music, art, and connection—but there’s still work left to do.

Please consider donating to their GoFundMe to help Indy CD & Vinyl cross the finish line. Every contribution supports a locally owned, inclusive business that has championed local music, art, and culture for decades. Let’s help them keep the music alive in Broad Ripple!
