MFT & Circle Centre Mall team up for Music at the Mall!

Musical Family Tree has been creating opportunities for Indiana’s music artists and audiences since 2004. Over the years we have collaborated with a number of partners like the Indiana Pacers, Indianapolis Parks, the Arts Council of Indianapolis, Bottleworks and more to program music in public spaces. Our latest series kicked off this fall and is a great opportunity for artists and audiences to connect!

Starting in October, Musical Family Tree began working with Circle Centre Mall to program music on Tuesday evenings from 5-7pm. Especially during the winter months, Circle Centre Mall serves as a connecter to most of downtown. The mall wants to bring in new people to the space, and activate the available spaces there creatively.

We are excited to be welcoming all local Indiana musicians for this fun family friendly event,” said Marketing Manager, Sarah Grannan. “We are looking forward to having everyone join us on Tuesdays for a night of music. While you’re here enjoy dinner by one of our many dining pavilion tenants.

“We’re certainly grateful and excited to partner with Circle Centre Mall to bring local musicians to showcase their craft downtown” MFT board member Bryan Robison. “Whether guests are shopping, grabbing a bite to eat, or simply passing through, Tuesday’s live music series is sure to brighten people’s evenings in the mall.

This Tuesday Brandon Whyde will be playing from 5-7 . Rob Dixon Trio will be performing on 12/6, and Adam Graahs (Santa Graahs!) will perform on 12/20.

Artists who have played already include: Christopher Pitts, Johshua Powell, Kara Cole, Charlie Ballantine, Rebekah Osborne, A Girl Named Books, Eric Salazar and more.

Musical Family Tree will continue this weekly series into the New Year. If you are interested in helping perform, program, or manage this series, contact afonacier@musicalfamilytree.org
