With the primary influences of \"subtle noises & mountain dew slushies,\" Indiana based Manners For Husbands are a breath of fresh air in the world of indie rock. Their completely unique blend of mathy, airy, jazzy, lo-fi rock has made them one of the most under-rated bands on this planet. The three-piece, comprised of Clinton Hughey, David Brant, & Alex Myers, have shared the stage with such notable acts as Low, Pedro the Lion, Retsin, Unwed Sailor, Faraquet, Hertzsprung Gap, North of America, and Sweep the Leg Johnny. The instrumental roles of the band seem to change as often as the time signature. Clinton and David both fill the guitar, bass, and vocal roles, switching instruments as needed; with their ideas brought to the front lines by the solid, intelligent beats of Alex Myers.
